Learning Information
Here is some information about what we will be learning throughout this year in Woodpecker Class. For more information on the curriculum your child will be studying, please contact the class teacher.
autumn
We will be studying The Romans - from the invasion of Britian, the luxurious bath house and their clever inventions. We will also be looking at Rocks and Fossils as well as learning how light travels.
spring
We will be learning all about the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings. We will also be learning what it takes to keep healthy and how forces and magnets work. In the Spring term we also rehearse for the year 3 and 4 play.
summer
We will be looking into the wonders of Water. We will locate countries, learn about the physical geography of Europe and begin to understand the worlds coasts, rivers and seas. We will also be studying plants, roots and fruits.
